Items in Fling Things and People are both toys and physics tools. A loose prop can become a throw target, a building piece, a rideable experiment, or part of a player-made scene. The Toy interface separates purchases and owned objects from items already present on the map, while Coin Machines provide the currency path commonly associated with Toy Shop purchases.
This hub is a currently documented index, not a promise that every historical object remains available. Names, Coin prices, natural spawn points, interactive effects, and limits can change. Use the live Toy interface as the final check before spending currency or planning a build.
Item system at a glance
Choose items by job
Do not buy solely from a “best item” label. Decide what you want the object to do. A light novelty prop is useful for learning release direction. A broad, flat object such as a Pallet is useful for rotation, stacking, and physics movement practice. Furniture belongs in a Building Plot when you want a persistent layout. An interactive item such as the Missile deserves an open test area because its current propulsion and collision behavior can affect nearby players and objects.
Practice
Small loose props
Use: learn grab, distance, drop, and gentle throws.
Check: natural spawn or current Toy ownership.
Risk: low, provided the landing area is clear.
Movement and building
Pallet
Use: flat platform, arrangement, and Pallet flying practice.
Check: current spawn or shop route and free personal capacity.
Risk: unstable motion near edges or hazards.
Interactive
Missile
Use: propulsion and impact experiments.
Check: current availability, controls, and effect before purchase.
Risk: update-sensitive behavior and disruptive collisions.
Creative
Plot furniture
Use: rooms, structures, scenes, and obstacle layouts.
Check: plot permission, Item Builder selection, and house capacity.
Risk: accidental erase or overwrite during save management.
Use the Toy Shop without wasting Coins
Open the current Toys interface and find the Toy Shop section. Read the displayed item name and price before selecting anything. Do not rely on an old community price table: seasonal changes and item updates can make a historical list inaccurate. If the menu offers a description or preview, compare it with the job you selected.
Buy one unfamiliar interactive item at a time. Spawn it in a clear place, test grab and drop, then observe any additional prompt. This keeps the result understandable and prevents several moving props from colliding before you know what each one does. If the item is only decorative or less useful than expected, you have limited the Coin cost of the experiment.
The Toy Shop Items guide provides a responsive category index and a checklist for recording live prices without treating incomplete community lists as exhaustive.
Earn and spend Coins deliberately
Community documentation associates Coin Machines with the normal Coin-earning loop. Approach a visible machine, inspect its prompt, and use its handle or interaction exactly as the live UI instructs. Reward amounts, symbol probabilities, cooldowns, and machine count are not fixed in this hub because public pages disagree or may describe older states.
Record the balance before and after one use if you want to compare results. If a machine is unavailable, move to another activity instead of repeatedly clicking it. The Coin Machines guide explains a safe rotation and shows how the official Earn More Coins pass affects the decision: its creator-written description promises an extra 50 Coins per machine use, while the base reward remains something to confirm in game.
Spend Coins toward a session plan. A builder benefits from furniture and reusable layout pieces. A mechanics learner benefits from objects with clear shapes and stable handling. A group making a minigame may value props that create visible goals. Hoarding is reasonable when the current shop has nothing that supports your next activity.
Understand toy limits
The official Raised Toys Limit pass description states that the personal Your Toys limit rises from 100 to 200 and that the house limit remains 600. Those figures are first-party product claims current on the check date. They distinguish personal spawning from a Building Plot’s house capacity; the pass does not double the house limit.
You rarely need to approach a large limit during ordinary play. Put away unused toys before spawning replacements. Clearing clutter makes aiming easier, reduces unexpected collisions, and helps a group understand which objects belong to the current build. Before purchasing the pass, test whether the standard personal limit actually interrupts your sessions.
Handle Pallets and Missiles separately
Pallets are useful because their broad shape makes orientation visible. Practice rotating and placing one before attempting Pallet Flying. A community page may list a historical price or spawn, but the current live menu and map are the authority for availability.
Missile behavior has changed in community recollections, so avoid claims about an exact propulsion duration, explosive strength, or old “nerf” state unless your current server demonstrates them. The Missile guide focuses on identifying the current item, testing it in open space, and separating observed behavior from nostalgic claims.
Build a reliable personal item record
For any important item, note its displayed name, category, acquisition route, current price if shown, spawn method, interaction prompt, personal or house limit, and check date. Add the object’s practical use only after one repeatable test. Unknown fields can stay blank; a smaller accurate record is more helpful than a full table of guesses.
When an item appears both naturally and through a menu, record both routes. When two props share a similar nickname, use the displayed Toy name rather than creating separate identities from community shorthand. This prevents you from spending Coins for the wrong object or following a mechanic meant for a different prop.
Item FAQ
Is there a complete permanent item list?
No complete first-party catalog is published outside the live interface. Use Toy Shop Items as a currently documented lookup and confirm every price in game.
Are shop objects permanent purchases?
Check how the current Your Toys interface treats the item after purchase and after rejoining. Do not assume every historical menu used the same ownership rule.
Does Raised Toys Limit change houses?
No according to the official pass description: it changes Your Toys from 100 to 200 while the house limit remains 600.
What should I buy first?
Choose the cheapest current item that supports a specific activity you already enjoy. A practice prop, a building piece, and an interactive novelty solve different needs.
