Fling Things and People Pallet Guide

Find, identify, rotate, place, and use the Pallet in Fling Things and People while keeping price, spawn, and Pallet flying claims current.

The Pallet in Fling Things and People is a broad, flat movable object used for ordinary flinging, platforms, Building Plot experiments, and the community-known Pallet flying technique. Its shape makes orientation easy to read, which also makes it a good object for learning rotation. Current price, spawn points, weight labels, and availability should be checked in the live map or Toy interface.

Identify the current Pallet

Look for a loose slatted or platform-like object whose broad face can be placed flat. Confirm that the Grab Line attaches and that the object responds to distance and rotation controls. Do not confuse a decorative anchored platform with the interactive Pallet.

If the Toy Shop or Your Toys shows a Pallet, record the exact displayed name and current price before purchase. Community pages can preserve older values. If a Pallet already spawns naturally in a convenient area, use that copy for practice before spending Coins.

Learn stable handling

Grab from a visible edge and increase clearance so the Pallet’s corners do not strike your avatar. On PC, roll the mouse wheel; on mobile, use the current distance control. Press R on PC or select the touch rotation function, then turn the broad face parallel to the ground.

Bring it down slowly and drop. If it tips, inspect the terrain and nearby collisions. Repeat until you can place it broad-side down three times. This simple drill prepares you for ramps, walls, platforms, and Pallet flying more effectively than beginning with maximum movement.

Use Rotate Objects if the object twists on an unwanted axis.

Use the Pallet for building

A flat Pallet can become a temporary floor, ramp, low wall, platform, or spacing guide. In a Building Plot, place large Pallet structures before small furniture so their collision boxes do not disturb finished details. Ask collaborators not to grab the same piece.

Check whether the Pallet came from Your Toys, the map, or the Item Builder because those routes can affect capacity and availability. The official Raised Toys Limit description distinguishes personal Your Toys from a house limit; it does not establish how every Pallet is counted.

Save a plot only after the Pallet settles. A piece moving during the save can produce an unwanted arrangement when loaded later.

Use the Pallet for movement

Community documentation identifies Pallet flying as a common use. The basic setup places your avatar on or beside a flat Pallet, keeps a stable Grab Line relationship, and adds controlled movement until lift or travel occurs. Exact results depend on physics and latency.

Practice at ground level in open space. Do not begin near the Poison Pit or map edge. If the Pallet rolls, clips terrain, or shoots away, drop it and reset flat rather than adding more speed. How to Pallet Fly provides the full setup, steering, landing, and recovery sequence.

Pallet flying is not a substitute for ordinary map navigation. The train and stable terrain are better choices when carrying an important object or meeting a group.

Compare Pallet throws

The broad shape creates different collisions from a small toy. Start with a gentle throw over open ground and observe whether the Pallet stays flat, rotates, or catches the terrain. Change the release angle only after three attempts from the same position.

Do not publish a fixed “weight” or distance from one throw. Object ownership, contact with your avatar, and server corrections can change the path. Compare a Pallet only with the same Pallet under the same setup before making a practical recommendation.

Fix Pallet problems

If the line will not attach, move closer and confirm the object is loose. If rotation snaps back, clear surrounding props. If the Pallet blocks your view, increase distance or re-grab from another edge. If it disappears or cannot be found at a remembered spawn, check the current Toy interface and a fresh server rather than assuming removal.

If another player keeps taking it, move to a quieter area or use a private session. Do not retaliate by disrupting their build; a shared object is a poor basis for a practice routine.

If flying behavior varies widely, note the server condition. Never add executor or forced-physics steps to make it consistent.

Pallet checklist

  1. Confirm the exact current object and acquisition route.
  2. Test ordinary grab and drop.
  3. Create clearance from your avatar.
  4. Rotate broad-side flat.
  5. Place it three times on level ground.
  6. Test a gentle open-ground throw.
  7. Attempt movement only in a safe area.
  8. Recheck live price and capacity before buying or spawning many copies.
