Fling Things and People Item Builder

Use the Fling Things and People Item Builder by checking plot permissions, selecting themed pages, clearing the trapdoor, placing output, and managing capacity.

The Fling Things and People Item Builder is a Building Plot station used to create a selected set of furniture, food, and other build objects. Community documentation describes a selection table with themed pages and a trapdoor or lift that delivers the chosen item. The live interface decides the current page count, icons, names, permissions, and available objects.

Check access and clear the output

Join or claim a Building Plot through its member interface. Community documentation says Owner, Co-Owner, and Member can use build tools, while Requester has no build permissions. Verify the current rank and visible buttons before selecting anything.

Find the Item Builder and identify its selection surface and output trapdoor. Move existing furniture, players, and loose toys away from the delivery area. A blocked trapdoor can collide with the new object or hide whether the selection worked.

Agree that one person controls the queue. Several players pressing icons at once can fill the staging area and consume house capacity without a plan.

Browse selection pages

Use the visible arrows or page controls one step at a time. Community documentation describes themed pages and icon buttons, but do not assume a fixed number of pages or ten current items per page without checking the live panel.

For each useful entry, record the icon or displayed name, theme, approximate size, and intended room. If the interface provides only an icon, spawn one copy in staging and identify it by visible form rather than inventing a name.

Choose large structural or furniture pieces before small decorations. This lets builders reserve space and test circulation before the plot becomes crowded.

Spawn and collect one item

Select one icon, step away from the trapdoor, and watch the full delivery. Community descriptions mention a lift pushing the object upward before the opening closes. Do not stand on the output or grab the object before the cycle finishes.

Once settled, move it into the open staging area. Rotate there, not above the trapdoor. Confirm who will place it and where. Then return for the next item.

If nothing appears, check permission, capacity, page selection, and whether the previous cycle completed. Repeated clicking can create several delayed objects when the server catches up.

Place output efficiently

Assign a staging lane between the Item Builder and the build. Large objects move first. Use held distance for clearance, rotate one axis at a time, and drop on the intended surface. Ask collaborators not to grab the same object.

Use Rotate Objects for alignment. If an object keeps tipping, clear collisions and test on level ground. If it blocks a doorway, return it to staging instead of forcing it through with a throw.

After placement, walk the route around it. A piece that looks correct from one camera angle can block movement or overlap another collision box.

Manage limits and cleanup

Watch the house counter while spawning. The official Raised Toys Limit description says the house limit stays 600; the pass changes personal Your Toys from 100 to 200 instead. Do not buy it expecting more Item Builder room.

Remove test copies, duplicates, and objects rejected from the plan. Keep the trapdoor clear even when the build is under the limit. Capacity management also improves performance and makes house saves easier to inspect.

Before saving, stop the Item Builder queue and allow every delivered object to settle. A late-spawning piece can produce an unexpected saved state.

Fix Item Builder problems

If buttons are unavailable, verify your plot rank. If an arrow does nothing, wait for the current selection or delivery cycle and try once more. If output collides, clear the trapdoor completely. If the wrong object appears, record the icon and move it aside rather than immediately pressing another button.

On mobile, close other menus and keep touch input away from adjacent item icons. On PC, make sure chat or another field does not hold keyboard focus if the panel uses a key prompt.

If the station differs from community screenshots, follow the current labels. Do not use an old timing glitch or script to force hidden pages or extra objects.

Build queue example

  1. Owner marks rooms and keeps save control.
  2. One operator browses the live selection pages.
  3. The group lists large required objects.
  4. Operator spawns one object and clears the trapdoor.
  5. A builder rotates and places it from staging.
  6. Another player checks walking clearance and house count.
  7. Decorations begin only after structure and furniture settle.
  8. Everyone stops before the owner saves the milestone.

Use Building Plots for the complete plot setup and House Saves for the final preservation step.
